I looked up at the clock, drearily. Even with the little movement, I could feel my head reeling. It was three o'clock…in the morning. Far to early to be awake, or perhaps, late? I had been assigned a huge essay the day prior, by my instructor, Dr. Robbingham ( Phineas Robbingham, he liked to be called, why would a teacher ask that of his students? ).
It wasn't like I'd put it off, or he'd expected too much. I just…got busy. There was some interesting story or movie on the television, about some odd parasite. It just…distracted me for a couple hours.
